---

2434 O.J. Simpson could be released from prison as early as October, and the buzz in the reality TV industry is that some producers are getting ready to scramble to sign him.

We've contacted a number of reality TV production companies, TV agents and platforms where such a show could run, and the reactions range from recoiling in disgust to pouncing on the opportunity.

None of the people to whom we spoke wanted to be quoted by name, but they all say the most likely formats are documentary or interview show.

Simpson actually co-wrote a book and then in 2006 shot a TV special, 'If I Did It.' O.J.'s co-author has said O.J. confessed to the double murder in the book and we know he read that passage for the TV special. There was a public outcry and Fox killed the show and our sources say it will never air.

The producers and agents with whom we spoke say they're certain someone will try to recreate the TV special that was never broadcast for several reasons ... years have passed, O.J. has done time for unrelated crimes, and 'People vs. O.J. Simpson' was a big hit.

Here's the problem. Almost to a person, producers and agents said broadcast and cable networks would never air a show featuring O.J. They say the public wouldn't tolerate it and no one would advertise on it.

That said, producers say there would be a home on Pay-Per-View because, as one person put it, "people could pay without being judged."

As for O.J. making money off a show ... he's still on the hook for a $33 million wrongful death judgment, and any money he makes could be attached to satisfy the judgment.

The poor man has suffered enough. Let him keep his earnings and enjoy what little life he has left.

And after that, he will run for president. He'll have the requisite reality show experience.

He killed two people. I just don't have any sympathy. He also committed felonies here in Nevada. To hell with him. There are a lot of non-sociopaths that deserve my sympathy. He's not one of them.

If he could, he would. Trump might resign just so he can.

I'm sure they both miss the good old days a lot.

The have already. OJ had to pay them lots and lots of money after they won their civil suit.

Once he gets out, he will be broke, friendless, homeless, estranged from his now-adult children, and is 70.

He has arthritis, is overweight, notorious, and is going to wish he was back in jail again once he's out on the streets.

His NFL pension was exempt from the civil suit. He gets 3.5 million on his release and 350k per year thereafter.

Boo to the fricken who. Poor OJ the sociopath.

OJ is very close friends with that family. Kardashian Sr. Was one of his lawyers and good friends. OJ threatened suicide in Kim' s room before the trial, when she was just a teen. He fled there in a panic.

There was another post going on this subject and it was closed. It was here or there, that was said some 35% here think O.J. did not kill the two people. I didn't watch that circus of a trial but there are plenty out there who believe Kato killed them.

There are many convicted of crimes, serve a long prison sentence and then found not to be guilty and let out 30 yrs later. OJ is old, full of arthritis but had a lot of good years that everyone loved this sports person, who made a lot of money for MANY in the industry.

I lean toward him NOT killing Nicole and Ron.
