If the GOP was smart, they would give huge amounts of money to states like Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas through legislation.

Never understood with the federal reserve printing press in full gear, why they can't just dump lots of money on swing states to protect Americans from Democrats.

I don't understand why they aren't using this golden oppurtunity to reward swing-states that could go solid, Republican while cutting funds to the blue states.

For example, the auto industry should get bail-outs and subsidies in Michigan.

What ever Kasich wants he should get in Ohio

They should weaken the EPA to appease Pennsylvania and also loosen regulation on natural gas, coal and oil.

They should ban imported oil to appease Texas.

Florida should get what ever it gets to make sure that the citizens vote GOP and not for party of Hillary Clinton.

Hopefully, the Republicans use the 1 trillion infrastructure plan to do favors in states that voted for them. I am sure if the Republicans were to dump money on purple states that voted Republican this last go around they could convince voters to vote for them until at least 2020-2022.

They can also gerrymander so that at least the US House is Republican until 2032.

The infrastructure plan will focus heavily on public-private partnerships and not as much on federal tax dollars. The intent is for private investors to build projects on their own and they profit from tolls and fees on drivers and users.
