This is hilarious, but I get the point. If the government that is all about personal freedom but wants to subject a woman to a forced-birth national policy, why not let the men get in on the fun, too?
I have to say that while I understand the point she's trying to make, it's still very stupid because
a)Sperm are not genetically human beings.
b)Sperm are constantly created and destroyed. Whether you masturbate or not, does not change this.
I think that is exactly the point she is making. She is trying to bring attention to stupidity like the stupid bill that would force a woman to choose burial or cremation for the embryonic remains of either a miscarriage or abortion.
Right, so I've seen this around and like 40% of people seem to be missing the point of the bill.
The person sponsoring it has no expectation that this will get passed. Frankly, if it did, she's likely be concerned. It's a statement on reproductive health. Women's reproductive health is often viewed exclusively in the context of creating a child, while a man's is not.
Well OK but then any woman who allows herself to reach her period without becoming pregnant should be given the same penalty.
Or perhaps stop with the stupid restrictions on legal abortion like being forced to choose burial or cremation for the embryonic remains of abortion or miscarriage.
