If we go far enough back in history, even the ancestors of the so-called "Native Americans" were immigrants, so YES, we are all "immigrants" or descendants of immigrants.
Speaking only for myself, I was born in that area of the continent known to geographers as "Pennsylvania" (Blair County, to be even more specific). Therefore, I am a Native-Born citizen of the United States, and could properly be called a "Native American". Family legend says that I have about 1/128th American Indian ancestry.
Yeah, big deal. That and $2 will get me a cup of coffee in most restaurants.

I don't know. It got Elizabeth Warren a job at Harvard. An you are more Indian than she is.

Please note that it is a "family legend". I have no proof of the truth of the matter. Perhaps someday I will spend the money to get a DNA check done, and find out for sure. Assuming such tests are accurate, that is.
Being descended from the earliest settlers does not make me an immigrant. I am native-born. My friend, whose parents legally immigrated here and became citizens, is not an immigrant; her parents were. She is native born.
This false equivalency accomplishes absolutely nothing. If one is born here, one is a native. Period.
Out that 60% mix, majority have like what 5% Spanish/ European DNA? Let's be realistic, the mix was there but after so many centuries is diluted. There was a good size of Spaniards relocating to the empire and mixing with the locals but it was small compared to the total population.
Please show me the data which says Latinos are predominantly white. And which country? If you refer to Argentina or Uruguay yeah others not so much
There are tens and tens of millions of white Latinos in Latin America. White as in completely European descended or majority European descended.
There are also African Latinos in many countries who have zero indigenous. And Asian Latinos in Peru.
MANY Latinos have native American ancestry, but not all. Mexicans on average are about 50/50. On average. Of course, many Latinos are also straight up native with very little to no European mix. There are also plenty of straight up white Mexicans with red hair and green eyes.
Some countries have a lot of "native" population -- like Mexico, Guatemala... a lot of Central America and Andes populations. Argentina, Uruguay, Southern Brazil, metropolitan Chile... lots of Italians, Spaniards, Portuguese and Germans.
Anyway, to state that "Latinos" are basically native is flat out false. Latin America is an immigration destination like the rest of the New World. Even if every Latino was some part Native (which they are not) being "Latino" gives no person greater claim to the United States territories, either, since native populations were not the same.
Indeed, the Aztec and Maya never extended their reach into contemporary US borders. The Apache fought ferociously against Mexican settlers coming up across the Rio Grande (who actually tended to be Spanish, and not native) as well. They were NOT wanted just like Anglos were not wanted.
I should have inserted/included 'except those who descend ONLY from people brought here against their will' (EDIT: I just added this to post #83). My intention was not to be insensitive to said group. I generally like Ben Carson, but I did think part of his recent speech to his department was cringeworthy.
Your correction is noted.

No... we are NOT all descendants of immigrants. Again, 30+ million of us are not the progeny of immigrants.

Yeah, but unless you're living in the same exact spot where your ancestors were brought against their will, someone in your past made the conscious decision to STAY in the United States. Many LEFT the US when they finally had the chance.
Other African Americans up and went west and north after the war, entering Indian held territories looking for a better life just like any other homesteader or settler of the time. Some of your ancestors even fought against the natives to assist in stripping their land from them. In that way they aren't much different than immigrants or migrants from any other area or part of the world.
[Sidenote: I always find it amusing when for example you'll see a Latin American or Middle Easterner or someone who lives in the US now railing against "white people" for "stealing" the Native Americans land --- while they themselves now live here! Like knowingly catching a free ride in a stolen car and bitching about the driver who stole it!]
