LOL!

You obviously have no idea what goes on in the Netherlands.

The Netherlands is a socialist country and always has been.

Half of my family lives in the Netherlands.

Don't get sick in the Netherlands, you get put on a list, at 33 years old (married with kids) and that brain tumor? Kills you b/c you were "young" and could wait for treatment. While the older family members get put on a "list" and die waiting in line for the younger ones to get treatment.

Clean, pretty, nice people, lots of tulips to tip-toe through...but the majority live off of the government and like it that way.

They don't know any differently and would NEVER change their "lifestyle".

Why would you expect that they'd rally for change?

It's comfortable & no need to change the status quo.

No matter who is POTUS.

I can't make much out of this pointless diatribe. In one paragraph, he says one thing about young people being postponed for healthcare and dying, then he says that it's old people who get put on a long list and die before treatment. The Netherlands must have something good going for it, if they can survive so well, with so many dying all the time.

Exactly. I dont understand how anyone can look at Europe and not be amazed at the rise of groups that were almost non existent 20 years ago

These right wing parties were very small fringe parties just 20-30 years ago, the national front in France was usually in single digits in the 1980s and most of its history, never at 24+% !!

Is immigration and multiculturalism working in sweden, holland, europe ? Hofer in Austria won 46% of the vote and has a huge following among young people , wilders came in second, even the AfD is around 12 per cent - enough that would get them parliamentary representation and funds for the first time,Hungary, Switzerland and all over Europe populists are showing amazing numbers

Right wing parties from Hungary to Switzerland are winning and you have the 2018 elections coming up in Sweden, Italy and Hungary, with populist right movements that are likely to retain or increase their support, from the Sweden Democrats to the Northern League and Five Star in Italy, and to the anti-Roma and anti-refugee Jobbik movement in Hungary

People take heart in macron beating le pen? She has close to 40% poll numbers and 25 years ago this was a very small and basically a radical fringe party!

The question is why the enormous surge in Populism and right wing nationalism when it was a radical fringe just recently?
