President Bonkers has doubled-down on his claims of being under surveillance by Obama. Sean Spicer recited a claim by the WH that Obama used the British spy agency, GCHQ, to do the dirty work for him.

The United Kingdom's intelligence agency has strongly denied White House allegations it spied on US President Donald Trump on behalf of former President Barack Obama during the 2016 election.

GCHQ, in a highly unusual public statement, said the claims repeated by White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, were "utterly ridiculous" and ought to be ignored.

Well, what would you expect them to say?

"Yeah, we did it!"?

US makes formal apology to Britain after White House accuses GCHQ of wiretapping Trump Tower

The BBC is reporting that Spicer didn't actually apologize but agreed not to mention it again.

This is the kind of crap that weakens the US in the eyes of our allies, and worse in the eyes of our enemies. When will the WH realize it can't just spew lies, without any consequences.

Yes, so much for our "special relationship". But hey, we're MAGA, right? We don't need anyone else!

Maybe the lying Dems and their lying lib media lapdogs could set an example for them?

Like no more "bust of Martin Luther King being removed from the Oval Office", and no more "Russian Connection" with no evidence to back it up?

This apology is only being reported by the Telegraph. They do not cite a source.

I smell fake news.

Maybe you have more proof than a British rag.

How would GCHQ even know what it collects, it doesn't have to taget Trump specifically as it just collects so much information every day that chances are it did collect information about Trump.

White House 'promises not to repeat' Trump wiretap claim - CNNPolitics.com
Hey, when are you libs going to admit this whole thing occurred because of the lie about the Russian fairy tale.

The lie that you libs repeated constantly.

The lie you spread because you hate Trump.

The lie that the Democratic mouthpieces in the MSM pushed hysterically.

The lie that you liberals told that may have screwed up with relations with Russia.

All lies...when are people going to own up to it?

US will 'not repeat' claims GCHQ wiretapped Donald Trump - BBC News

The US has agreed not to repeat claims the UK's communications intelligence agency wiretapped Donald Trump in the weeks after he won the US election.

GCHQ denied allegations made by the White House that it spied on Mr Trump as president-elect.

No 10 has been assured the allegations would not be repeated, a spokesman for Prime Minister Theresa May said.

He said it had been made clear to US authorities the claims were "ridiculous and should have been ignored".
