The numbers speak for themselves. There is a 1/2 Trillion dollar difference between Obama and Trump at this point in the Presidency to the benefit of the taxpayers.
As pointed out before, the economy of January 2009 was much different that January 2017 thus the difference. If you don't understand that, there is no hope to get thru to you.

there are posters here who purposely ignore reality. The best thing to do is just repeatedly post facts that disprove their nonsense.

I go on a tear about this every once in a while.

I realize that those posting baseless conspiracy theories are not going to see the light.

However, others who read it might.

It is different. There's a Republican businessman running things instead of a Democrat community agitator who never ran a business.

Beyond that, the numbers speak for themselves.

Indeed. They insisted that Hillary had a "Blue Wall" and would be elected the next president.

And the thing of it is. They still haven't figure it out.

Not sure if that was sarcasm.

If not, I would agree that it always has and always will be great as long as we stick to the Constitution... otherwise this great country will fall to the globalist doctrine of a one world government.

What has he actually, you know, done?

Here's a graph of the change in debt from one month to the next. It just looks at the debt on the last business day of each month and takes the difference. Can you tell me when Obama was president and when Trump was president? I've intentionally removed the labels from the x-axis.

What specifically happened to reduce the debt?

I live in Charleston SC area.

Since 2007 Boeing has built and expanded, Volvo is building a huge plant, Mercedes Vans is expanding......the port has seen a huge increase in traffic (imports and exports).
That was all under Obama.

None of the expansion plans are complete...but new jobs will be created because of expansions announced while Obama was President.

You can't give that to Trump-- no let me clarify -- you can try to say it is all Trump but there is nothing he has done to get the credit for this.

The only way to reduce debt is to pay it down. Trump didn't do that. That was done based on financial activity prior to his inauguration - and probably election. When you pay down in January - it isn't from anything done in January -- might be hard for some to understand. Not everyone understands how money coming in and money going out on that scale might have a time lag.......It's okay -- we get it --

You are so eager to applaud anything he does -- because it has been such a mess, you have to give him credit for stuff he has no control over -- that's okay.

Trump's liine is this is the slowest recovery since the Great Depression...well um -- that's because it was the biggest recession since the Depression.

But that kind of logic escapes some of the folks....
