So this was pretty much pointless and no new information? Just more posturing from both sides and Comey saying the investigation will continue for the foreseeable future and they have investigated since July.

Nunes seems to be trying to make a point even he can't figure out.

Agree and Nunes ain't no better.

One would think both sides would want to get to the bottom of Trump's extreme ties to Russia. Do you like the idea of Moscow having heavy influence in our government?

That's a big deal.
Yes, but we've known that there's circumstantial evidence of collusion for a while, enough to warrant an investigation. I'm satisfied that there is, in fact, an ongoing investigation. Yes, that is good news...but it's no smoking gun. I'm just saying people shouldn't be jumping up and down already celebrating the results of the investigation when it has yet to be determined.

It certainly is.

1) There is no evidence for Trump's wiretapping claim. Unless you're a diehard Trump supporter, I doubt most are surprised by this.

2) There is, in fact, a probe being conducted into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians during the 2016 election.

All this means is there's an investigation. When it's all said and done, it may be that no collusion was found. We need answers either way.
My takeaway was

1) Trump should have said "surveillance", not "wire tapping". Wiretapping is when you tap into someone's phone line, but they don't do that anymore. Hence, the strong emphasis on the wording of 'wiretapping".

2) They don't have any evidence. It's been rumored around the DNC now that the Russia thing is being exposed as fake and they're taking their time to keep it going until they find other dirt on Trump. But the DNC was pressed to go to war with Russia even before the election.

The only thing that's official is that you anti-tRumpers are spinning y'alls heads off and your minds are long gone.

I don't care if you call Trump a liar based on a tweet.

Calling an acting President a liar is like calling Michael Moore a fat-faced Jabba-the-hutt-quadrippled-chin looking mouth-breather.

NSA, The FBI, the CIA, and God Herself cannot pin Russians on helping Trump get elected, a lie which your MSM media perpetrated every minute since your November 8th Shocker Nightmarish new life.

Comey came out and said, "Sorry folks, we've got nothing for you about the Russians, but since you still have no lives, click your heels together, and say, 'There's no place like home, There's no place like home...'"
