The media is the opposition party, and they will criticize everything and anything Trump does.
You and other Trumpers can keep saying that over and over, but that doesn't make it so. It just makes it your opinion and party line. MSM aren't 100% truthful and accurate by any means, but most are way more so than your guy.
If he does good, he will get generally better coverage. If he behaves Trump-like as he has, the large number of people who think he is a pathological, lying, narcissist who is taking us in a dangerous direction aren't going to approve of him. And that includes the MSM. Do good, get good. Do bad, get bad. And that's where he has been and is now. You and others voted for him as he is. He's your guy. But, don't expect everybody to fall in line when his behaviors and actions go against their values (and, thus, why many would never have voted for him).
A lot of what his supporters feel is unfair coverage isn't at all. It's just Trump, on video being himself. He's being judged on how he behaves as much or more than on what is reported about him.
What exactly do you think non-Trumpers and the MSM should be approving of him about at this point (considering majority values and perspectives)?
Truthfully, he is such an unethical, dysfunctional mess, even if he did a complete 180 at this point and did all the things that non-Trumpers would approve of (and Trumpers, conversely, wouldn't), most people who don't trust him now, still wouldn't trust that a change had actually been made. Sociopathic people aren't trustworthy. You can approve of their specific, demonstrated behaviors but still know that their underlying character has been unaltered. (Some of them are much slicker than Trump in their manipulations.)When no trust has really been established or it has been repeatedly violated, wise people are very cautious about trusting, if they are ever again able to. Think of someone in your own life that you judged to be untrustworthy and why.

Not for me. I don't think Obama was perfect. He made some mistakes and did some things I disagreed with. Overall, not too many. No cult-like allegiance. But, I felt he was as trustworthy as a president could be. I felt he generally made wise, considered decisions. He was very cognizant of keeping us safe. He was and is a decent person. He had a calm demeanor and seemed honorable with strong integrity. He was genial and had a genuine, good sense of humor. He was serious when needed and had a respectful manner and a sense of decorum. He generally was taking us the right direction and had good intentions. He conveyed a sense of love, care and loyalty for his family. He seems like a generally nice person with a nice family.
Nobody has to agree with my opinion. It is what it is. And it's why Trump is so jarring. He's almost the opposite of Obama. He creates a sense of chaos, non-safety, non-integrity, incompetence and of being significantly mentally ill. So no, my mistrust is recent and directly related to him and those he surrounds himself with. Chaotic, mentally-disordered people tend to create chaos, insecurity and disorder in those around them. And he chose some of them because they already leaned that way.
I'm with the camp that he hasnt influenced my life yet...and the main think I look for him is comic relief from his tweet storms. We shall survive regardless who is the president is.
I think Trump is a crazy Loon, but we will endure him as we did Obama.
No we won't. Yesterday's statements by Comey indicate President Bonkers' tenure will be short-lived. Impeachment within 18 months.
