Seems like most of those today that won't quit talking about Trump/Russia are the same ones that if they were around then would be HUGE fans of McCarthy totally in agreement with "OMG THERE ARE COMMUNISTS ON EVERY AMERICAN STREET CORNER JUST WAITING TO SUBVERT AMERICA!!!".
The McCarthy hearings were a bunch of witch trials. But there is a seriously something very wrong with the Trump-Russia connection, and it should be uncovered.

Sad they can't see the extreme irony.
The extreme irony I see is the same people that ignore the FBI investigation into Trump's campaign were screaming Lock Her Up. Time will tell if the same is said about Trump.
There were -- and still are -- communists in the United States. Just look at our universities. Just look at Jill Stein praising Fidel Castro.
Many of the people McCarthy accused of being spies were in fact spies. We found that out when the KGB opened its files.
The Trump-Russia connection is b.s. No evidence for it. And even if there were, Russia is not our enemy. We share the international space station, and even did joint military exercises with them back in the nineties. We've been doing business with them for decades. Yes, they're a rival, and they're not very democratic. Neither is China. Neither is Saudi Arabia.
To those who say Putin is bad because he invaded Crimea, look at what we've done in Iraq.

In Syria.
In Libya.
In Somalia.
In Cuba.
In Nicaragua.
In Honduras.
In Guatemala.
In Chile.
In El Salvador.
In Panama.
In the Dominican Republic.

In Vietnam.
