Nope and never have been. Sorry to burst your bubble with the truth. obama teach you to lie about others? I was taught to seek the truth and tell the truth. Guess I was lucky to raised by parents with ethics and morals.

Aww isn't that nice that you might be showing sympathy for the peoples whose lives you helped keep down because you supported failed economic plans from the bald faced liar in the white house.

Governors and Mayors are still doing everything they can to make legal gun owners felons so you libs will still have plenty to crow about. Plenty of actual "normal" Democrats own firearms too. Just not those born in a mall that never left and are afraid of assembled pieces of metal.

Let this be a lesson to them. Ginning up fear is a great business tactic, but it's also an ephemeral one. Now for the next four years, and just maybe the next eight years (if not longer), the industry will see sales plummet. If you want people to buy your product, make a case for how great it is and don't go the lazy route by claiming that your time (and right) to buy it is limited.

The only people i feel sorry for are the workers who will be losing jobs left and right over the next four years. Why? Because their company's public relations/advertising strategy has been lazy as hell.

Anyway..

Crashing "Post-Obama Era" Gun Sales Lead To Remington Mass Layoffs | Zero Hedge

Only lay-offs are in the ammunition division. Gun sales are still brisk and Remington does not have a line of handguns, only rifles.

Everytime him and Fienstein, opened their mouths about the need to ban semi-automatics, sales jump to new records.

" and right wingers smirked,"

The usual "painting with a wide brush" from you.

Gun sales and prices started going up when "midnight specials" were banned.

They continual went up when Bill Clinton started out pushing for his so-caled Assault Weapons Ban bill.

With its passage they continued to go up.

When the bill was passed the dems LOST complete control of Congress.

Sen. Feinsteins comments about guns including," If I could, I would confiscate ALL of them " while the dems held control of the Senate.

When W .Bush took office sales and prices pretty much leveled out.

Then came another dem, Obama, and with the dems holding all 3 Branches gun owners knew things would change for the worse, again, and they were right.

And they did, Obama tried to re institute the so-called Assault Weapons Ban bill.

The dems in Congress did NOT vote FOR the bill after the losses they endured after the Clinton ban,

Several very liberal states, NY and Ca for instance, passed new anti-gun legislation.

Every time any of these things happen sales and prices go up.

Now that we have a repub President and the both Houses of Congress the fear about more ridiculous legislation is lessened.

So, it all makes sense.
