#45 / TrumpPutin will blame it on Obama and then declare a recession as "Fake News !

President Obama has left the US economy in a very good state and it will take about a year before TrumpPutin's economy will take affect based on his policies and if the GOP approves his economic policies.

This stock market and Economy is the result of President Obama's economy and not of TrumpPutin's effort.

Wait until 2018.........

Can't really answer, but I'll bet he does not go out and borrow a trillion dollars and spend it on shovel ready projects.

Yeah. Obama will probably take the blame, even though he will have been out of office a year or two when it starts. A recession is likely coming on Trump's watch and will most likely be caused by either a trade war or a run on the dollar. It will be interesting to see if Middle America starts waking up when that happens, realizing they have been played.

Depends. Unlike most I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. If a recession helps close the gap between the working class and those who sit on their asses all day on Wall Street doing nothing, then I think it's a good thing.

We need to stop subsidizing the non working sector.

He'll say there is no recession and any one who says anything different is a liar or being subjected to fake news, meanwhile he will continue to spend weekends in the lap of luxury at Muralago plotting new venues for rallies where his idiotic worshippers will be chanting "lock her up" while he satiates his ego in self aggrandizement

Sadly many voters actually believe this nonsense, for the real answer you can view the video below at 7:35.

Full interview: John C. Bogle on the economy - CNN Video

"I don't think Presidents can control the economy. They think they can, and if it does well, believe me they will take the credit, if it does badly, its someone else's fault."

One of two things:

- Blame Obama
- Tell everyone it's fake news
