Maybe all those workers can get jobs at Amazon Fulfillment Centers!
Markets change, technology evolves, events happen...people lose job. That's life....they'll move on and find something else. What do you want? Trumpie to hand people jobs. I get it, Trump is an anti-capitalist clown***, but you can't be serious
*** yes, buy american and hire american are inherently anti-capitalist...right wingers can be anti capitalist clowns also
Crazy Eddie bought KMart before he took over Sears.
I worked at a KMart as a second job when Chuck Conaway was the CEO, Chucky embezzled from the company and ran it into bankruptcy but at least our store was well maintained.
A few years back I got another job at a KMart store when Eddie Lampert was running the company and he closed our store not because of poor sales but because Kroger which had a store in the same shopping center wanted to tear down the buildings to put in a Kroger marketplace.
I don't see myself ever not going to the grocery store.
Seems like a waste of time to me.
At the very least, we should be able to drive up to some drive through, select items we want (prior to or at the location), pick them, and then pay. Then go home. A lot of places have that store pick up option, but it's too disjointed and inefficient at the moment
Sure, jobs may be lost...but I think economic and technological advancement are always worth the costs.
