I'm not kidding. Democrats tried to get to the truth of the matter and Republicans kept trying lock the whole investigation down.
The Democrats even admitted to trying to get things on the record, some of their questions began with them admitting that Comey probably won't be able to answer but that 'its important to get this on record'.
The Democrats are living in a fantasy land, with no chance of ever hurting President Trump.

Democrats are focused on getting things "on the record", as if that gives them some sort of points.

If both sides were more focused on what the people need, we'd all be better off.

True, there's no shortage whatever of people saying ****, dropping names, inferring connections, speculating (wild and tame), and spinning theories. That's not my question.

Nunes seems to have some journalistic instinct. According to his talk with bloomberg guy, he noted down numbers referring to these reports. He is going to request them and share with his committee. Committe doesn't have access to these documents so far. Looks like he is working on this for some time. It is time for Schiff to start working and finding information about Russian collusion. I am still waiting for someone to leak this stuff and see what is in there?

Most important, Nunes told me these reports were sent to the Obama White House among other executive branch agencies. Nunes until now had only said the reports he viewed were widely distributed inside the government. "The reports included details about the Trump transition, meetings of Trump and senior advisers, they were distributed throughout the intelligence community and to the White House," Nunes said. "In some cases, there was additional unmasking of Trump transition team officials."

In addition, we know that details about communications between Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak and Trump's first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, were leaked to news outlets by several current and former officials. That leak ended up forcing Flynn to resign last month.

...

If it turns out that intelligence about the Trump transition was included in dozens of reports that were sent to the White House, then the House Intelligence Committee really has two investigations. The first is of course a probe into how the Russian state meddled in the election and whether it did so with the aid of Trump's associates or campaign. The second is about whether the Obama White House inappropriately spied on Trump and his advisers during the transition to power.

Nunes has hinted before that he is talking about more than one investigation, and I agree that these two could well be what he is talking about. A third possibility is whether Trump or associates have broken the financial laws governing money flows between the US and Russia.

Why is Nunes going around telling people personally they are being investigated?

Republicans are trying to make a big whoop out of whether names were unmasked or easy to guess.

According to Nunes, these reports are not shared with committee. He is trying to find more about them and requesting them to share with committee. Other than visiting WH to tell Trump, I think he is doing good job of investigation. Rest of them seem to concentrate on getting update from FBI. Nunes is kinda digging deep on surveillance issue.

Spicer is now saying he does not know who Nunes met with at the White House. There is a log that records all visitors. Has it gone missing?
