Those two ARE in Trump/Bannon/Kushner's collective pocket
Why bring in Nunes except as a shill???
Nunes is such a dolt
He has bern played all for Trump/WH interests
He has lost all credibility as unbiased investigator
Spicer and he are on same level now...
Exactly, Trump could have just asked his 2 staffers to provide the information directly to him or to McMaster or one of the other cabinet members, why is Nunes involved.
The White House will not confirm or deny. The fact that they won't deny pretty much says it all. And now that everything has come out, NOW, the WH is havin' a party so everyone can read the documents. The WH is in chaos. They've lost control of the story.
And now they've really got some 'splainin to do. Oh what a tangled web we weave.....
Lol. That bumper sticker was right. Elect a Clown and you get a Circus.

Nunes is on the Intel Cmte. So it was necessary for Nunes to make a yuge dramatic show of giving a press conference on the WH grounds to announce the info he gave the WH that the WH gave him and Trump was already well aware of. I think he was told to do it, because I cannot believe Nunes is that stupid that he would do this on his own.
Trump is all about the production, the show, the fake news. I'm surprised Nunes didn't walk out on the lawn amid a swirl of dry ice fog.
Action -- ...the camera pans to Trump and he sniffily says 'I do feel somewhat vindicated.' Fade out.
so let me get this straight - you think that the 2 "officials" should have gone to Trump or one of the members of his team and told them directly - and have them come out and say they had received evidence? is that what you think should have happened?
Personalky I think those docs are likely edited or compromised
These are the documents:
Quote:
The intelligence reports consisted primarily of ambassadors and other foreign officials talking about how they were trying to develop contacts within Mr. Trump’s family and inner circle before his inauguration, officials said.
With the issue per Nunes being:
Quote:
The real issue, Mr. Nunes has said, was that he could figure out the identities of Trump associates from reading reports about intercepted communications that were shared among Obama administration officials with top security clearances. He said some Trump associates were also identified by name in the reports. Normally, intelligence agencies mask the identities of American citizens who are incidentally present in intercepted communications, though knowledgeable readers can often figure out the identities in context
Any "proof" was to come from the NSA (wasn't that deadline today? No it's tomorrow - Friday) so I'm not quite sure what the dog-and-pony show concerning the NSC documents is about other than to FINALLY share with fellow intel committee chiefs. And, more - what about that NSA proof? Might we forget about it?
More, is it a coincidence that the WH sent a letter to Congressional intel committee chiefs offering a show-and-tell a "few hours" before the NYT story hit? The press briefing was about 25 minutes late starting.
One cannot help but wonder if the WH was caught short by the Nunes bumbling and the NYT reveal so they are rolling the dice with whatever they have.
While Trump is busy trying to distract the American public the Russians are busy trying to dangle stuff in front of Trump to further egg him on. Great fun for the Russians this all is.
And - I kid you not,
Testimony today before the Congressional Committee that IS doing some productive work here - the Senate Intel - has the Russians trying to gauge when Trump might be "available" online to plant stuff to send him off on tangents. Unbelievable. But it's what you get when you elect a reality show host with a taste for conspiracy theories.
