Same here. My dearest friend voted for Bush twice, has nothing good to say about the Clintons and yet over the years we've remained friends by barely talking about politics and just admitting that we have a different take on things.

But this election ended that. I think Trump's a con man who is undermining our nation and our Constitution. Plus, he lies like a rug. She thinks he's a hero who is standing up for working people and believes all the BS that he throws out.

Trump's call for 2nd Amendment folks to deal with Clinton appointing judges did it for me. Anyone who thinks it's okay to openly call for an assassination has such a different take on the world that it's pointless to continue our friendship.

Same with a couple relatives. They have been Republicans for years, but the last year they turned vindictive about it.

But the House and Senate committees investigating different aspects of the Obama administration's misbehavior and the Russian fairy tale have buried everything with no one allowed off the reservation to make unapproved comments to the press. The one senator to keep an eye on and making occasional comments is Chuck Grassley, Chairman of the Judiciary Committee. But he's been around since 1981 and no one is going to challenge him.

IMO, we're never going to get the whole truth. Washington protects their own, no matter how sleazy. Especially ex-presidents.
Nunes caught lying, Flynn breaking the law and Trump (again) making baseless claims is 'rubbing it' in Democrats noses?

Bwahahaha! I don't know if this is either the funniest post in this thread or the most delusional!

Bwahaha!

Chaffitz who is supposed be investigating ethical violations but instead is taking off for a month to have the pins in his ankle removed because it's been over a dozen years since the surgery and they might get infected.

It's pretty clear Manafort is a Russian agent.

Carter Page is acting like one as well.

Giuliani is telling his side of the story.

Flynn has offered to all in exchange for immunity.

Boris Epshteyn was apparently running a counterintelligence op while working in on team Trump.

...

Anyone thinks the Democrats are getting the worst of this is delusional. This is the best thing to happen to Democrats in a long time.

You guys are quick to make guesses and there is still no evidence on actual contact or effect. HRC lost on her own corruption not the Russians. Obama got nervous that Trump might in so the abuse of power began.

As for the Trump Team of course they have business relation around the world. Just because HRC and Obama zero relationship Russia on a diplomatic level is why you guys are beside yourselves.

My final point of course the Russians were trying to influence the elections (since 1945) and we do the same trying to get Putin retired. You guys act the Russians is pure of white.

I met the person who became the best man at my wedding in July 1973. He was a close, staunch friend during some very tough years when we were at Cornell together, 1975-9, He was best man in 1991. At the time he was a committed socialist. When we talked about the upcoming election last summer I assumed he woiuld either be for Hillary or a far left fringe type. He berated me at the time for supporting Hillary and said he was an ardent Trump supporter. I received from pretty terse emails almost ordering me to vote for Trump.

After the election I called to congratulate him. He was downright nasty. I called a few weeks later, and basically said he was too upset to talk to me. So a 48 year friendship is down the drain.

Back to topic.

Nunes should just resign now. The attempt at deflection has failed and it has taught the nation a civics lesson. If the House and Senate cant get the job done its time for a special Prosecutor.

There is more information coming out every day from money laundering to candidate knowledge about it.

The GOP is slow walking this issue in the hope it will go away. No it will not go away, no matter how many fake emergencies the POTUS and his political staff create.

Was that before, or after Obama lost 1,030 Democrat political seats for you Democrats? Just asking for clarification. Let me alert you to what you've been left with:

1. Pocahontas
2. Killary coming out of the forest next to Big Foot
3. Soros, the N**i collaborator, financing fake riots, fake masked criminals, fake online trolls, leftist politicians, and leftist groups which though they number in the 10s of thousands, couldn't get Killary elected.
4. Whining, rioting, protesting wearing genital costumes.
5. The failing leftist media (the DNC's propaganda machine).
6. 1,030 less political seats.
7. A population growing more convinced that conservative is the only way to save the country from the a-hs from your polit party who are out there rioting with their faces covered because of their cowardice.
8. GOP president, GOP Congress, GOP nominations of justices, GOP everything.

Not much else. It's what you want and are working hard to retain.

I was a Democrat all my life. Two years ago that changed when I realized that the corrupt freak I'd voted into office, turned out to be a Muslim. Maybe he wasn't turning his rear up to the sky in the middle of the street (as they so love to do), but all his actions in office proved he's a Muslim. I have turned away all Democrats who were my friends and acquaintances, and now have only friends who are conservative. Why would I want to immerse myself in the pigsty again?
