It seems that the more that comes out about this, the more the MSM focuses on their fabricated "Russian connection" which, by the way, has been confirmed not to exist.

The "opposition party" was not targeted. Team Trump members showed up on counterespionage and criminal investigations. Huge difference. Huge.

The Russian connection has been confirmed to exist.

Is it backwards day on your planet?

Good article just came out on RCP by Molly Hemingway in the Federalist today on why the intel whistleblower information Nunes revealed is so important. The MSM is ignoring the important impact and travesty this leads to -- what if Bush had surveyed Obama for three months after elected -- MSM would have gone bonkers.
Here's Why Nunes' Obama Spying Revelations Are Such A Big Deal

That explains Maxine Waters (BA from CSULA) and Pelosi (BA from Trinity Washington University) as well. OTOH, Trump is a Wharton grad, so we know he's a brilliant guy.

There was NO collusion between the Trump team and Russia, nor was there any effect on our elections from any interference that Russian might have tried to do. What Nunes just revealed had no connection with Russia.

Intelligence Hearing Reveals No Trump-Russia Connections

Democrats' latest continued attempt to derail Trump Administration not working

Morrell wrote an op-ed for the New York Times back in August where he both announced his support for Hillary Clinton and argued that Trump was a puppet of Vladimir Putin, “In the intelligence business, we would say that Mr. Putin had recruited Mr. Trump as an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation.” However, he’s now changed his tune and believes that Mr. Trump is not only innocent of any collaboration with Russia but he further argued that the “Trump dossier” released a few months ago is likely a fraud.

What the bloody hell is that all about?

He thought it would squash the investigations? No not at all-if anything he exposes himself as a partisan shill and incapable of objectivity or at least respect for the office he holds.

Now with egg on his face, he squirms in front of the committee he betrayed.

Oh no, a truth teller, you can't have someone like that in Cali.

Why?

Why good did it do for the last 2 we have had?

Nothing came of value from the Whitewater case Nor the Valerie Plame case.
It worked just "okay" when it was used with Bill Clinton of "I did not have sex with that woman" fame...

As for Nunes reporting this information to Trump, there is an argument to be had that given Nunes is the chairman of the Intel committee that he had a duty to report said (alleged) conduct to the President, the person in charge of all of the intel agencies.

No, he had an obligation to report "said conduct" to the other members of his committee, he blew it and he apologized. Hopefully he will exercise better judgement in the future.

Sorry to rain on your little parade there.
Every President & cabinet speak to the Russians, as well as every other country. Obama did. Bush did. Clinton did. So on and so on. What the Trump admin was nothing out of the ordinary (at least now what we know at this time). What's different is the intelligence agency acting like the boss over the President, instead of the other way around & the intelligence community committing felonies by intentionally trying to undermine the President via leaking to their liberal allies at the WaPo & NYT. If you think Trump has done anything unique in communicating with foreign ambassadors, you're wrong. If you think the intelligence community can monitor & leak anything they choose about our national security under the guise of "we stumbled across it by accident", you're wrong.
