You don't think that was their plan all along?

Fewer than 10% of Trump voters will benefit from his efforts.
Of the others though... most, maybe even another 90%, have been benefiting from the
previous policies and would have continued to under D leadership.

Newsflash:
* Trump is still President
* You guys don't control ANYTHING
* Since this deal is of the table, it seems more likely the GOP will take full filibuster-proof control of the Senate in 2018. Wait and see what will happen with ObamaCare then
* Hillary still lost
* Gorsuch will be confirmed
* Keystone XL and Dakota pipelines are coming
* Tax reform is next
* The wall will be build
* Illegal immigration is down double digits

Personally, as a conservative and Trump support, I am delighted this bill failed. Call it "Trump Care" or "Ryan Care" all you want but with this bill not on the books, it takes a major weapon out of the Dems hands in 2018.

ACA will collapse further, the GOP will solidify their Senate majority in 2018 and TrumpCare 2.0 will make snowflakes run to their mommies.

Sweet dreams, libs
Yes we still have Trump. Which is probably a good thing...for the Democrats.
Democrats can and will block.
Thanks to Trump et al it is likely the Democrats will do very well in 2018. May even gain a majority in the Senate.
Yup Clinton lost and so did the Republicans. Just not smart enough to notice.
Gorsuch may well not be confirmed.
Dakota appears to have made it. Keystone may spend the next two years tied up in court.
Tax reform will do no better than health care. Same problems.
The wall goes nowhere.
Illegal immigration goes nowhere.

ACA is now a Republican property. If it goes south they will take a beating for it. You cannot promise a fix and then walk a way.

Trump is US President. Trump is not Speaker of the House. Controlling how the house votes is Paul Ryan's job.

Don't bet all your money on that...Trump has no coattails, the Republican congress just lost what they had promised for 7 years, they voted to repeal it what, 60 times? Now nothing except their own members stood in the way and they FAILED Voters will remember...

I think Trump comes out of this smelling like a rose.
  • Ryancare failed. This was a major blow to Paul Ryan's leadership. - Trump winner.
  • No Trumpcare. i.e. Trump doesn't mess caused by repealing Obamacare - Trump winner.
  • Obamacare - Democrats now own it again. Trump can say they tried to fix it, but Democrats wouldn't help. - Trump winner.
People don't realize that Trump isn't a politician and isn't playing such a game. He's done 3 things.
  • Neutralized the neverTrumper, Paul Ryan
  • No longer held to his campaign promise of repealing Obamacare. (he tried)
  • Democrats retake ownership 100% of Obamacare.

Not quite..
Trump owns Obamacare, he inherited and clearly lacks the chops to get rid of it; so he now has a responsibility to make sure that it works as well as possible for the American public. If a President inherits a war, they can't turn their back on it and let our service members die because "it wasn't their war".

Trump could have avoided being stuck with this bill, but he embraced it and tried to negotiate with house members to get it passed, when he did so it morphed from Ryancare to Trumpcare and unfortunately for him, it will be an anchor around his neck for the rest of his term in office

Yes, the voters will rearmer.. GOP didn't do a thing to fix whatever issues are with ACA. After all they refused to even work with any Democrat for 7 years to at least try to make a few changes. Like any major law that gets passed.. there were always updating and changing portions that aren't working... BUT since DAY 1.. Government shutdowns, demonizing the law ..disasters, unaffordable care act etc etc. So, NO there is no way GOP doesn't have their "Finger Prints" on ACA and whatever flaws exist.

I find it rather ironic that when BO and Trump met .. BO even said to him that he would be just fine with a HC bill if HE and Congress could come up with a better bill. It's COMPLICATED! ..and it took Trump weeks to admit that "Who knew it was so complicated"? ..LOL Actually B. Obama TOLD you so before he even departed from the Whitehouse!!

Voters will indeed remember!!

Trump/RINOcare which Trump worked so hard to push thought failed, and somehow you still see it as a win. You sure are a true lemming.
