That's kinda dumb thinking, but thanks, Lady for supporting Trump. Maybe she WANTED her husband to leave

Same procedure than any other country (well maybe not Germany). If you are illegal, you shouldn't be there. And just because you found others who support you doesn't make it legal.

He immigrated to the United States from Mexico illegally in 1998, deciding not to return after a visit to a family member in California. According to his immigration lawyer, Beristain was in possession of a legal Social Security number, work permit and driver’s license after registering with ICE in 2000.

This is a dupe thread. The guy was supposed to self deport in 2000 and never did.

I imported my high-quality, genuine spouse......of course, we foolishly did all the footwork and paid the expenses to bring her here LEGALLY (and keep her here).
But, we have no worries about knocks on the door, at least!!

Here's some intellectual consistency for you: I'm a huge Trump fan, and I want this illegal (and all others) gone YESTERDAY.

He's married to a citizen. Typically that means you get to stay.

I read elsewhere they had filed whatever it is you file when you are bringing a foreign-born spouse in but the process wasn't complete yet. Is that true?

In any case I can see how a married couple with kids would consider his status a technicality that would be resolved eventually, since he was, you know, married. Plus he was checking in with the authorities periodically as he had been asked to do. He had no record to boot.

That said that woman is dumb if she really thought only the "bad" people would be deported. Yes, Trump said that at one point but he also said a bunch of other contradictory things. The truth was she had know way of knowing which statement would be true. But she had to know a big chunk of his followers were rabidly anti-immigrant and would want everyone to go, so why risk it? SMH.

Well done! The best high-quality imports are known to last a long time! Never accept a cheap knockoff!

Ya did good!

Can't stand Trump but it is karma for that those that supported this Illegitimate President and voted for him will be those that get hurt the most.
