Maybe Trump IS the swamp.

I mean, if you consider the "swamp" to be money-grubbing, corrupt, selfish people, he certainly exemplifies that.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel there was no choice between an inarticulate bully with no government experience, known for having filed 700 lawsuits, being involved in multiple bankruptcies, and stiffing his workers, versus a highly experienced, articulate person who has spent time in areas specifically geared toward helping people (i.e. health care).

By the way, do you understand that Trump's idea of health-care would vastly enrich medical insurers and pharmaceutical companies?

Trump is the swamp.

He has been in politics a lot longer than he likes to admit.

He was out there doing their dirty work.

Thank goodness this evil and egregious bill has been at least slowed.

But watch out TRump already started to defund Obamacare. He ordered the IRS to stop enforcing the insurance mandate to make sure prices will go up.

IF you live in a red state call your REPs and tell them we need the manade back to keep ACA funded.

Obamacare worked, but narrowed and capped profits in the rules. TRUMPcare allowed unlimited profits and allowed insurance sellers to pick and choose. The whole point of trumpcare was exactly to allow insurance companies to rip you off.

And remember TRUMP ordered the IRS not to enforce the mandate, thus the pool will lose its healthy people and will push up prices for everyone else.
I use to have Anthem. Anthem dropped Obamacare so i switched over to another insurance that had Obamacare. Then the next year when i signed up again they had to double check to see if my insurance company stopped offering Obamacare in my county luckily they didn't.

If by "in politics," you mean making contributions and such which amount to bribery to further his business ends (i.e. profits), then absolutely.

Here's the truth the insurance companies win either way. If ACA stays everyone is required to buy insurance and they can continue to manipulate and drive up premiums. If ACA goes premiums go down by 10% according to the COB and they reduce benefits and coverage.

Once you get a public option and give people a choice between public vs commercial only then will you see insurance carriers become competitive and reduce premiums.

Trump will go down in history as the most loathsome and lying president ever.
Every once in a while it dawns on me that he is actually sitting in that seat, and I almost can not believe that he, of all the people in the world, is running this country. If someone would have told me that a year ago, I would have said they were crazy, but here we are.

This truly has to be one of the darkest times for America ever. He is an international embarrassment, and completely ill equipped to handle this job. We won't even go into his shady character, or his past history of screwing everyone who ever did business with him.

This really is like a bad joke.
