Sounds like Paul Ryan will be blamed. Boehner is so happy right now.

I heard he requested a transfer to an ambassador position in the Far East (or Ireland).

Yes, but he is neutered now. He just lost a lot of political capital.

I think lots of congressional Rs will be asking themselves whether they'd go out on a limb for Trump and are answering themselves with a big fat NO WAY.

Ryan is hardly blameless in this fiasco, but Trump has no talent at all for making real supporters. And he's gonna need them.

Ryan will survive - trumpcare was dealt a death blow. They need to start over from scratch.

It was plumb stoopid of trump to fight for a bill that didn't come close to what he promised during the campaign, so trump is the biggest loser in this battle. He will find that his horribly fractured republican party (remember, the fractures within the party were part of what led to him winning the primaries so much of the time?) is just not going to join together without strong leadership at the top - and trump is not the strong lead that he imagines himself to be.

Who the F cares? The Republicans routinely eat their young. It's business as usual in the dysfunctional camp known as the GOP..
