GOP did their darndest to systematically undermine the ACA - instead of working FOR the country and its citizens. The coops would not have collapsed if Rubio hadn't defunded the risk corridors - nor would the premiums be as outrageous as they are today.

Gotta love the GOP - always have the best interests of their constituents at heart. And, then there are the red states which didn't expand Medicaid - and the failure of their rural hospitals, as well - plus huge numbers of uninsured. True patriots.

It is no myth, its on video. She said nothing about minor disagreements.
good try, though

She said the words and later clarified their meaning. And the RW version is absurd. Of course it was widely known what was in the legislation which was being negotiated at the moment. There was active horse trading going on to get to the final bill...and it was a very tight margin.

Under Pelosi's leadership the (D) were wiped out in the House. I'll never understand this compulsion to defend her.

There is no compulsion to defend her. Just to point out the idiot myths of the right. The ACA was absolutely one of these ugly compromises that you get in a representative democracy. Anything really polished and consistent was doomed. So you end up with the democracy smorgasbord...something the representative can vote for even if holding their nose. It has no negotiation of drugs or medicare like government run policies. Could not have them and get it passed.

Of course it could. The (D)s wouldn't risk the campaign donations to do it.

If your only solution to improve health care for most Americans is "I can't wait to see the ACA implode", then I'm sorry, but you're just a pathetic, idiotic loser.

Anyone who says that should be put on ignore.

What myth?

What she said was rather clear and shes clearly stupid too. No worries though Hank johnson cleared her of being the most stupid lib in congress.

Oh, and when Obamacare explodes, we will be begging for the awesome Ryan/Trump bill. Is that right?

A small number of Democrats would not risk it. Took only one or two to defeat it. Nature of representative democracy.
