Honestly, the millennials average age is just 25 or 26, they will start having kids soon and will be looking at real estate.
Los Angeles Public Schools for example are just 8% white and many of those are Armanians, Iranians and Persians that have an insular tradition and don't associate with people outside of there groups except for work purposes.
I think in a decade many of these big cities will be in the same situation as the 1980s and 1990s despite some new skyscrapers.
I know it's not politically correct, but I don't see white millennials staying in big cities and sending their kids to school districts that are 8% white.
Lets be honest, these demographics are similar to other urban cities.
Even though urban cities tend to be about 30% white on paper, they tend to have enrollments about 10% white in the school system.
Other then the wealthiest of millennials, the only whites left in big cities tend to be older.
Perhaps white millenials don't mind sending their kids to school with non-white children.
I know you Trump people complain about being called racist, but then you say some really racist ****.
Out of a class of 25 students in the typical LAUSD school based on district data, 2 would be white.
I apologize, it is what it is and I would think that would be a very, very isolating experience and millennials who will be the ultimate helicopter parents wouldn't want their kids isolated.
It really isn't like that as the 8% as mainly ethnic whites such as Armanians, Iranians and Persians who live in NE Los Angeles on the Glendale/LA border.
Perhaps white millenials don't mind sending their kids to school with non-white children.

For real. I mean, race really is the issue in this post and OP doesn't even try to pretend it's about anything else. Persian and Armenian immigrants do not form any kind of underclass and have cultures that value education, their kids tend to do just fine in school.
I would think it has more to do with income than race. Zoning in places like NYC is complex, there's no guaranteeing you go to the school in your neighborhood. Most "helicopter parents" would probably go private for the sake of avoiding the bureaucracy.
