I ask this now coming on the heels of trumps stunning reversal on health care.
Many. Things could go wrong. He could start a global trade war that could leave us worse off.
He could enact a corporate tax reform that actually encourages off shoring.
Based on his abject reversal on health care what can we expect?
They will find some other minority group to blame for all of our woes, take your pick: Blacks, Muslims, Puerto Ricans, native born/naturalized Hispanics, etc. Steve Bannon apparently really hates Asians. They will find another scapegoat once the scary illegal immigrant boogeyman isn't a good foil anymore.
I fully expect any effort at tax reform will either fail like healthcare, or it will lead to a trade war which would devastate the economy. But hey, it's all the fault of them minorities in inner cities leeching off welfare!
Why should anyone pick crops at slave labor wages? Besides, we have unlimited visas for legal, foreign pickers so what's the problem since only 2% of illegals are picking crops.

I don't know. Look at Mississippi, a state with hardly any illegals. High poverty rate, 2nd highest murder rate in the nation, high unemployment rate. And a brain drain. And Mississippi has been like this going back to the 1960s and before.
