Um, we have had a wall on many places of our border for some time now. 240 years ago illegal immigration wasn't an issue. Anyone wishing to violate our borders for any reason is the enemy. If you are speaking of terrorists they are sneaking in right along with the so-called migrant workers.

I went to war to fight against the people who wish to harm us. I was in the Iraq war when it started back in 2003, and had a military career. My perspective is different from yours. People have died for our freedom, and a big strong powerful nation don't need a wall, we just have to get better at what we are doing.

The wall isn't necessary to deter criminals, the drug cartels and terrorists? WTH? You can't enforce the laws on the books until illegal entry is attained. The idea is to stop them from entering in the first place. Once they get in here they are much harder to root out and the costs involved of removing them isn't cheap either. So yes, the wall is necessary and has been proven to work along with removing all the incentives for them to keep coming here. I have never seen such objection to secure our border in my life before. Bunch of Trump haters and illegal alien apologists is what this is all about.

If we don't need a wall then how did 11 million plus illegals get in here? You fight a war in a foreign country but you don't want to secure our own borders from an illegal invasion which includes terrorists sneaking in that way also? That makes no sense to me. We are a strong and powerful nation but we won't remain so with unsecured borders.

The "wall" will never be built.

It's just another lie that Trump told to his supporters to get them all riled up, lol!

Most of the border land is privately-owned, including river frontage.

The US will have to do the Eminent Domain thing and owners may appeal. It will likely come down to court ordered condemnation for some properties. This stuff can take years to resolve.

The Freedom Caucus within the House is opposed to The Wall as are some Republican Senators.

It's not going to be a slam dunk, especially given that Mexico says they will not pay for it.

The wall won't be built, it just won't be built. Nobody is even talking about it. It was just a campaigns talking point designed to get people vote, telling people what they want to hear. But, you keep on believing that it will happen, that's your choice.

That's merely your opinion. If nobody is talking about the wall then why have there been so many topics started about it in here? Seems like the liberals and ethnocentrics must really be afraid that it will be or they'd just shut up about it instead of crying and whining about it all day long in here.

Trump has been getting bids on it already. Yeah, you libs and ethnocentrics keep believing that it won't happen, that's your choice to stick your head in the sand about it also. It's fun to watch the desperate attempts to deny the facts.
