A saw a news article that Hispanic contractors bidding on the wall are getting death threats.
We've come a long way, haven't we? German-Americans bombed the s---t of their ancestral home and nobody accused them of betraying their "community." Now you want to dig a foundation for a wall and you are accused of treason.
I am not sure if mom and pop contractors are equipped to build something like this. Give it to Bechtel and they will subcontract it out. I wonder at what point people start believing that the wall is really going up after all.
Your making the assumption that Mexican American contractors bidding on the wall are mom and pop. That's probably not the case by a long shot.
Don't trust them, Mexican contractors will build a back door or weakness into the wall..... like a small thermal exhaust port, right below the main port, with a shaft leading directly to the reactor system.
I am failing to see what the controversy is about. Hispanics do own businesses, and they do bid on projects. The wall is not an anti-Hispanic wall, it is a wall to assist in keeping people from entering the country illegally.
It will be a prime contractor bidding and winning, and hundreds of subcontractors working on it.
