QUOTE=hothulamaui;47685777]I will address your last comment on abortion. abortion is a medical procedure, it requires a doctor, and is a medical service woman use. what else would you call it if not a woman's health care?

PP does far more than abortions, they need not be penalized for providing a legal service.[/quote]

Declining to publicly fund a private organization is not "penalizing" it.

Why do Liberals seem to think that anything they believe is worthwhile MUST be publicly funded in order to exist?

Your opinion which millions disagree with.

However, today abortion is legal an she can have one.

She should be "responsible" and pay for it herself.

The rest of us should NOT have to pay for her pleasures.

" but when a man chooses to have sex, it's still the woman's responsibility to deal with the consequences."

Wrong. The man should be responsible only in a different way.

I guess you never heard of 'child support"
THE REST OF YOU AREN'T PAYING FOR "HER PLEASURE".

YOU DON'T PAY ANYTHING FOR ABORTIONS. NO TAX MONEY PAYS FOR ABORTIONS.

Is that too difficult to grasp?

It's "operations" are to provide healthcare to the poor, who might otherwise go without healthcare giving how expensive healthcare is. The poor who cannot afford to pay. Get services from Planned Parenthood at a discount. A discount that is paid for in part from charitable contributions, and in part from funding by the government. The states receive funds from the federal government to help pay for the poor to get healthcare. Because it is in the best interests of the American people that poor people get some basic healthcare. Of course, there are plenty of jerks who don't want the poor to get healthcare, who think that poor people should just shut up and suffer.

WRONG.

For example:
Quote:
"Cash, credit card, certified check or Medicaid and/or your private insurance are the only ways to pay for abortion care at a Planned Parenthood health center in New York State."
https://www.plannedparenthood.org/pl....dzBCvhpX.dpuf

Medicaid most certainly IS funded by tax money.

That is total BS, and everyone knows it. I've already provided an example of 17 publicly-funded FP Clinics within a 10 mile radius of the center of a low-income Chicago zip code, while there are only 16 PP facilities in the entire state of Illinois.

Why do people think PP is the only place low-income women can get free or reduced fee contraceptive and women's health care, when there are many times more publicly-funded clinics throughout the US than there are PP facilities? Stupidity? Or what?

How are the other ones different from PP?

You have been lied to. The invoice is sent to Medicaid, and if it is for mammogram etc, they pay for it, but if it is for abortion, they cannot pay it. It is as simple as that.
