Why should we work to save a red state from its own folly? When those people living in those red states see the real costs for flooding their state with poor, unplanned children delivered by previously poor, and now even more poor, parents, they will pay a much greater price.

This is one of those times when it's best to watch red states learn a painful lesson. It's like closing all the public schools and being surprised when the entire state gets poorer because those uneducated people can't get jobs and can't contribute to taxes but are a cost instead.

Doesn't matter how good the quality of life as long as the body is still breathing.

How much of a tax increase are you willing to pay for all of the additional children that will be added to the welfare roles and the foster care system?
What are you willing to do to ensure that they all have a good quality of life?

As has already been said, save a penny, spend a million.

Conservative logic at its finest.
How much money are you going to donate to Planned Parenthood?

Not my job to guarantee one's quality of life.

I do want them to have the opportunity.

You guys act like no one has ever made a quality life out of tough life circumstances.

It's all doom and gloom because your pet issue has been knocked down a peg and will need to find some other funding. Welcome to the real world.

I don't have to do it. A non-profit already exists with an established system of clinics that provide care and services to millions of the poorest Americans.

Why don't you re-invent the wheel? Because you don't hesitate to demand that of others.

Exactly, exactly, exactly.

This is a religious evangelical argument that ignores the reality that those very poor parents having very poor and unplanned children will suffer greatly and so will the the states that they live in.

Does anyone see the irony in those same evangelicals complaining about paying for poor immigrant children because of the cost to society conversely working to fill their states with poor children and parents from within?

Why should you work at all? Just sit at home and collect benefits and complain about the government not giving you enough.

Yes. We have millions of women relying on Planned Parenthood for education, birth control, STD testing. But let's get rid of Planned Parenthood. And then demand that people who defend Planned Parenthood because of all the good the do, go out and start from scratch to re-invent Planned Parenthood. Because that makes SO much sense.

This is so obvious it boggles the mind.
They clearly don't care about any of that. They're the most ignorant bunch of hypocrites I've ever seen. They complain about people being on welfare and thunder about how terrible abortion is, but when given an opportunity to fix those things, they do the opposite.

They couldn't be more stupid and short-cited about every issue they address--school vouchers, climate change, health care--you name it. They are complete pawns of the elite class of Wall Street profiteers who have made them believe that poor people are their enemy.

They'll keep doing this stupid stuff til it all goes south and then they'll look around and wonder what happened.

Except that what will happen is that the holier-than-thou in those red states will feel even more validated to punish women for having sex. How dare they!
