Being a misogynist does spill over into his policy making.
It's funny that many current Republicans are worried about woman-hating religious extremists but support a vice-president who is a woman-hating religious extremist.
It's crazy how a personal policy becomes "woman hating" in the minds of some. It's actually a great personal policy for too many reasons to list and it doesn't prevent anyone from getting the job done. Not Pence and not any women he meets with. We've become very lax and it's opened the doors to problems both real and imagined. While I probably wouldn't go quite this far I think it's a fine policy to keep, especially when you already have a target on your back.
The "freaking out," perhaps, could be because Pence is a hypocrite. He won't have dinner alone w/ a woman other than his wife, won't partake in alcohol, yet he is Vice President to a President who was caught on tape calling woman "P*ssy's" and wanting to grope them, among other things. Some people, rightfully so, can't wrap their minds around such hypocrisy.
I'm a conservative who is against abortion, and I think he's extreme AND I can guarantee you that he is of the ilk who believe that women are inferior to men.
Guarantee.
And he's the worst kind of extremist because he can use his religion to justify anything.
