I wanted to pitch for the Yankees, but that didn't happen either...

The karma is strong in that one. I remember saying to my wife during the convention "check out this sleazy *******" when he was leading his chant.

How would that be worth giving him immunity? If you ask for immunity you supposedly have some great leverage. Please don't charge me for a crime is not leverage.

No problem, if true. The minute the Intelligence Committee (or anybody else) charges Flynn with any crime, Trump immediately writes a Presidential Pardon for him.
Instant, irrevocable, immunity!

Isn't Congressional Intelligence Committee an oxymoron?

Trump was both right and ridiculous because nobody is innocent.

We have so many laws on the book that even the government have lost track. Even somehow we can magically remember and understand all the laws, we can't guarantee that something we say wouldn't incriminate ourselves.

Personally, I would do the same thing, immunity or no testimony.

Remember that a number of people got immunity in Hillary's espionage investigation, does that automatically mean Hillary violated the law?

ASKED for IMMUNITY? - yes he did
According to the report, Flynn made the offer to the FBI, the House Intelligence Committee and the Senate Intelligence Committee. All three entities are currently investigating whether Trump’s associates had contact with Russian officials during the 2016 presidential campaign. According to the Wall Street Journal, none of them have yet accepted Flynn’s offer.

NBC’s Peter Alexander confirmed part of the WSJ report:

Former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn is in discussions with the House and Senate intelligence committees to receive immunity from prosecution in exchange for questioning about potential ties between Russia and officials in President Donald Trump's campaign, his lawyer said Thursday. That's rich. Boohoo. We're all guilty. Right wing victimhood is hilarious.

Flynn's lawyer may have asked for immunity, but it is not confirmed.

Flynn's lawyer never said they asked for immunity, his statement was very vague.
