Any objective person with a knowledge on what socialism is would be able to look through the many threads on the topic and notice that an absurd number of people are entirely ignorant on what 'socialism' actually is. If you don't see it... it's because you don't know what socialism is. From my experience, the people who are 1) uncritically against it and 2) don't know what it means are usually the most resistant to being told what the definition is. Predictable, but still ****ing pathetic.

And for clarity, knowing what it is does not mean agreement. I know plenty of people on this board can identity socialism correctly and have principles reasons to oppose it. In the same way, I am not a libertarian but I can still correctly identify what libertarianism is.

Too many people on these boards equate socialism to communism.
