Let's see, what are there, two Republican ex-presidents still alive? And they are both named Bush, both of whom have reason to despise him after the way Trump disparaged Jeb during the primaries. Not to mention Trump doesn't exactly fall in line with the Republican establishment on several issues, illegal immigration for example.

Probably most of the dead ones, too.

But there's a bright spot.

Do you think spelling Trump, tRump is clever? It comes off as the sort of childish insult that Jr High Schoolers would find amusing. It's the crackpot left equivalent of calling Obama "Hussein". Seriously, look deep within yourself for an insult that is clever, amusing or in some way witty.

And when I look at most of his posts I feel like I am in a kindergarten class.

This is dead nuts on. The mainstream GOP (i.e. NeoCons) are progressives. No different than the mainstream Dems (i.e. NeoLibs), especially on foreign policy, where they're both ruled by the same corporations & globalist influences.

They both support non-stop elective wars in Iraq/Syria/Libya/Afghanistan, attacks on countries like Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia et al. they both support global militarization to feed their backers in the military-industrial-complex, they both support staging coups against governments that don't bow down to them, they both support wasting taxpayer money on massive foreign aid as a way to bribe foreign countries, they both support foreign banks controlling our currency, interest rates & economy via the Federal Reserve, they both support the pay-for-play campaign contribution, lobbyist, think-tank/foundation network, board of directors after retirement from government system, they both support open borders, free trade deals that crush the middle class, expansion of government, the degradation of our public education system, etc.

The idea that the Dems & Reps are diametrically opposed to one another, especially the Bush/Clinton/Cheney/McCain/Kerry/Biden types of status-quo politicians is nothing more than theater. It's like professional wrestling where the rubes believe one wrestler is the good guy & the other is bad. Anyone with an ounce of common sense understands it's a show & that the two wrestlers are actually friends. The Bush & Clinton clans vacation together. In 2014 lone they vacationed together nine times. The Clintons & McCains are close friends as well. The Clintons vacation at the McCain estate in Arizona & Hillary has gone out of her way to compliment McCain & vice versa so many times that's it's damn near a love affair. Anyone with their eyes open saw Biden & Kerry insert their sons onto the Board of Directors of the Ukrainian national gas/oil company a month after we staged our coup d'etat there.

Obama was different. Not the kind of different I like, but he was not one of these people. His ideology overlapped with them in many areas, if for different goals, but at his core, Obama was different than these guys. His resistance to war in Russia, Libya, Syria et al made him a target for both left & right. This was one thing he got right & I tip my cap to him for resisting the NeoLibs & NeoCons. Bernie Sanders was also different, which is why Hillary & the D's cheated in the primaries to ensure their backers didn't get stuck with two candidates in a row that didn't do as they were told. Again, he wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but he was not beholden to the corporations, the mega-banks, the military-industrial-complex, et al. & he would have done things much differently. That's why, once again, both the NeoLibs & NeoCons ganged up on him. Trump too is different & again we see the NeoLibs & NeoCons ganging up on Trump. The one thing these two empires don't want, is a populist candidate who's working for the people (regardless of if their vision is the correct path) upsetting their scheme. That's why you see people like Bush/Cheney/McCain/Koch Bros bad mouthing Trump whenever possible & pledging their support to Hillary during the campaign.

He's not the only lefty in here that does that and it's not a grammatical error it's an intentional juvenile slam of Trump. There's another poster in here that does the exact same thing. I don't know who copied who but you'd think that one of them could come up with an original one. I didn't like Obama and many on the left but I never resorted to name calling. Some people refuse to grow up, I guess.

It's just SO easy, is the thing. Maybe he shouldn't have changed his name from Drumpf. His choice, not mine.

No need to be so bitter after your "big win." Don't worry. Be happy.

I'll make a bet with you right now. Showdown time. Show me where Trump changed his late name & I'll leave this site forever. If you can't then you leave this site forever. Bet?
