I would like to know why when the two ladies have him on the ground he is not cuffed in the first 30 seconds. Do they not have handcuffs? Get your knees in the back and on the head then the cuffs.
Extremely embarrassing. No cooperation, retreating 100 metres when the guy starts to hit rocks at the van, and not any attempt to seize him even when he calmly walks away.

They are armed at all times, they hit him with batons a few times, and I'm pretty sure he was maced.

I hope that too. Ok, I get it, a furious individual might get almost supernatural powers and can be very difficult to tackle down even by male cops, but the officers just seem to put their hands in the air and give up. Here just 150 km east of the Swedish borders cops NEVER give up or let the criminal think he's winning. In any case, Finnish cops shoot around 12 bullets a year, and have killed 6 persons in 16 years, so I'm not advocating for splatter either. But this incident was only embarrassing for the Swedish police.
Then don't hire them to fulfill some progressive quota. If you can't do the job, you shouldn't HAVE the job.
