I think they've largely behaved rather well, given the past 8 years of poor behavior by a good chunk of the republicans in congress.

Yeah... the people who seem to worship at the altar of The Donald tend to like the idea of an authoritarian sort of government.

I just want someone who knows something about politics and government and has an inkling about world affairs. Trump is none of these.

I did sorta hope after he was elected that he'd choose a cabinet that knew something, but he mostly chose wealthy donors with very little political experience.

I guess he needed to feel like the most qualified guy in the room?

Ego.

Seriously? Look at the mess the fractures Republicans are in, they were the one's who royally F'd it up. They had seven years to work on a plan to replace the ACA, but when it came to the crunch, they just didn't have the collective testicles to do it.

The Koch brothers barked and the Freedom Caucus obeyed. Seven years for God's sake, and the GOP couldn't come up with a plan, and you think the Democrats are in trouble?

I think that as much as has turned up so far that is incriminating, I think it's just a matter of time before there is that smoking gun.

There was a ton of evidence.

Just setting up the server was enough to prove intent, and section F of the Espionage Act doesn't even require intent.

She was given a pass because people that high up in the Democratic Party don't get charged.

As for Trump colluding and coordinating with Russian agents to throw the election, nothing has been proved because there is nothing there to prove.

The Russia-Trump conspiracy is a smokescreen invented by dirty Democrats with all sorts of financial entanglements with Russian actors that were supposed to disappear down a memory hole upon Hillary's election to the presidency.

When that didn't happen, there was no one to hide their influence pedaling.

Podesta, Biden and Kerry all have family members serving as go-betweens to Russian and Ukrainian oligarchs and government officials.

The details are just starting to come out now as the smoke from the fake Russia story clears.

Overall, on the state level the Democratic Party is now at its weakest point in nearly 100 years. On the national level, Trump won because people wanted change and they simply could not get over the chain of deceit and dishonesty exhibited by Democrat standard-bearer Hillary Clinton.

So seriously scooby, should he have rammed a healthcare law through before anyone got to read it like Democrats did. Democrats F'd it all up and it's up to R's to untangle the screwup. I'd rather they take their time and DEBATE it instead of just doing it so they can say they did it. So get a grip.
The last three elections. 2016, the Dems lost the WH but gained in the Senate and House. The same thing in 2014. In 2012, the Dems got Obama re-elected.

When you refer to "the chain of deceit and dishonesty" you could very well be describing the disconnect between Trump's campaign promises and his post-election fulfillment. Trump promised 'there will be insurance for everybody. Healthcare will be a “lot less expensive†for everyone and terrific.' The bill that he supported and failed was not terrific unless you were a billionaire that would have gotten your taxes cut.

Trump was largely supported by the white working class. This group he double-crossed, cutting programs, such as housing assistance, that they depend upon.

Then, we fooled his base with trade agreements and painting NAFTA as anti-worker, when NAFTA relaxed more Mexican barriers than American ones.

It's so comforting to know that Jared and Ivanka are taking care of foreign policy, and that Steve Bannon is in charge of dismantling the government domestically. Jared and Ivanka's deals with China will be great for the Trump brand! Lots of blingy shoes she can sell over there if she gets a good deal for herself.

So far we have neither.

Ten people die in a terrorist attack in Russia and he's tweeting about Hillary Clinton and debate questions. Can someone give this guy something to do? Maybe parade a super model or something into the Oval Office to get his attention?
