President Trump always has the upper-hand over China.
He'll never bow to or accommodate their leader.
As with most things he does, President Trump is sending a message.
whats the weather like today in the world you live in?
Yes, and how many times the trumps had the WH fumigated after the Obamas left, right Waldokitty?
Ahh. Your topic has failed and thus you try to make it about me.
My opinion is that Mooch didn't steal the silverware. This would require planning & work to pull off. Furthermore she's the type not to want to used perfectly good but used silverware. She'd rather fly to Paris on someone else's dime to get some new flatware.

Yeah, throwing Taiwan under the bus and adopting* the 'one China' policy was a real tough stand! At least he did better than a lousy T-shirt and got his trademark approval instead.
* My mistake, the policy was in place but Trump had hinted the US might not continue to honor that policy. Something apparently changed his mind.

Nah, I'm good with my topic.
Moochlania's already cost the government more in 75 days to stay locked in her golden tower away from her husband than Michelle spent in an entire term.
Speaking of trademark approvals, China just granted Trump dozens of new trademarks, some of which have been pending for years.
"The approved trademarks cover a range of industries as varied as construction, mining, shipbuilding, shoe repair, restaurants, hotels, golf courses, day care centers, animal training, toy rental, advertising and financial services."

I'm sure he'll ignore this and rush to ensure all merchandise manufactured bearing his name and likeness is done so in the US....somehow his lemmings seem to think its ok for him avoid doing this though...

Wasn't escort services one of them? At least that's something he has experience with.
The Chinese president has been extremely outspoken against golf in China. Does trump not know or just not care?
I remember during the transition period hearing about how he didn't talk to the state department before speaking with world leaders. There are a lot of subtleties involved with diplomacy that he seems blind to.

He sure is; the message that he wants another Mar-a-Lago weekend vacation. And this meeting is a perfect excuse for him to spend millions of our tax dollars to get yet another one. Most other presidents would hold the meeting at the WH and stay at the WH all weekend. Not Trump. He has to show off to China at his posh resort. I feel sorry for the residents of Palm Beach, especially the business owners who will likely go bankrupt from this.
