Well...you're free to write to Trump and tell him to go to this employment agency. I've explained to you that with many Americans such work is a one and done thing. Meanwhile, the same guest workers actually do want to come every season.

What more is there to say on this topic? You keep bringing up the same things on and on ad nauseum.

It's really a scam, and was devastating on our Engineering department. What would take an hour or less to fix by a local IT person would take a week for the Foreign replacement to do. Of course Engineering being down for a week was a different budget than IT so IT got to gloat at how much money they saved

This started under Clinton and Continued under Bush, then Obama so the parties are really no different.

Because Trump supporters make endless excuses for Trump himself and there is no excuse for it. To complain about H1B workers and the evils of them taking American jobs, but excuse it when Trump hires them is obviously contradictory. Trump has never heard of a local employment agency? Come on.

This is actually getting bad. I know that foreign companies are buying US companies and bringing in workers from their countries while forcing out American workers who worked for the company for decades.

No...It's not "contradictory" to hire seasonal guest workers. At one time, high school and college students would do those jobs---that's when summer season started on Memorial Day and ended on Labor Day. You know that seasonal jobs now start earlier and end later.

Once again, why don't you get that most Americans want year round work? And why don't you get that foreign workers can come back to the same job year after year? Why don't you get that Americans who take seasonal work often do so because they can't find work in their own fields? For example, they were displaced by H1-Bs but couldn't find a job in their field. Even you know that if those Americans were to find a job in their field, they would quit that seasonal job so fast that it would make your head spin.

That employment agency you mentioned---Do they use E-verify? Or do they just trust that the documentation given them by job hunters is real? You have a beef with Trump? Then write to him and ask him all those questions. You are solving nothing when you keep whining about this issue on this forum. Obviously, you are obsessed with this issue so put your money where your mouth is and get in touch with Trump. Either that, or just give it a rest

Come on.

Trump should try hiring American workers first. Put ads in the paper, post ads on Craig's List. Stop pretending he needs H1B workers and hire Americans first. Like his winery, where he also hires H1B workers. Stop pretending and live by his own policies. And the employment agency would not need to use E-verify, Trump could use E-verify. Trump has thousands of employees. Rather than hiring foreign workers at the onset, hire American workers and verify they are legal. Just like he is telling everyone else to do.

Once again---Trump does NOT hire H1-Bs to work in his Winery. Why do you keep saying this? Do you even know that the H1-B visa is for? I posted a link about it in post #7. Maybe you should read through a thread before responding.

How many Americans who are looking for work are willing to travel a good distance to take a seasonal job in a Winery that's in a rural area? Most Americans looking for work are in urban and suburban areas. Many don't have reliable transportation to go such a distance. Most likely, their paycheck will be eaten up by commuting costs.

Again, why are you telling me all this? Just write to Trump already. You're accomplishing absolutely nothing by whining about this on and on ad nauseum.

How an H-2A visa not a foreign worker? Is Trump saying rural areas should go ahead and hire foreign workers but cities need to hire Americans? Or just Trump should hire foreign workers and everyone else needs to hire Americans? How is Trump hiring foreign workers without giving American workers the chance to apply not discriminating against American workers? Perhaps some American should challenge Trump in the courts. Perhaps an American in Palm Beach or an American in Virginia that lives around his winery. If anyone should be insisting on American workers, it should be Trump, right? It would be wrong for Trump to insist everyone else hire Americans while Trump consistently hires foreign workers.

As to your first sentence---Huh? H-2A visa is for foreign workers.

As for the rest of your post---All that has been explained to you. You still don't get it. I'm done explaining to you. If you are seriously confused, go back and read my posts again. Of course, you will be back in this thread as you are determined to have the last word. Have at it

Saying that Trump doesn't hire H1B workers at his winery ignores the obvious, which is they are still foreign workers, the only difference is the designation. Trying to justify Trump hiring foreign workers while telling other employers not to? Trump is a complete hypocrite.
