If trump had nominated Napolitano to SCOTUS, would republican senators have voted for him? (federal, support)

Andrew Napolitano?

He is definitely a constitutional conservative. So why wouldn't republicans approve of him? The only thing that I can think of is he has been on TV too much, it seems like SCOTUS judges tend to come from a more quiet and non public background, I think.

He didn't nominate Napolitano, so it doesn't matter. He nominated Gorsuch who is highly rated with a great record of a dozen years on the Federal Bench.
