Generally, Democrats and Liberals do care about social programs and we realize that everyone needs a helping hand from time to time.
Yet conservatives have posted links on past threads showing that conservatives donate more of their time and give a higher percentage of their incomes to charity than other groups. The only counter arguments I have read are, IMO, eye rollers:
1. That the only reason the above is correct is because of tithing and church activities << (and I'm Agnostic)
What I don't get is that there MUST be an easement for the border. Nobody can own ALL the land right up to the border, it just doesn't work that way. That easement is federal property. If they built on federal property, that's their own fault.
Normally, I do not find joy in other people's problems, but this one is really too good to pass up ! We have been saying that Trump voters will not change their minds about voting for him UNTIL something he does hits them square in the eyes.
We see so many Trump cheer leaders on here, applauding every time he signs one more of his vindictive Executive Orders, and they will be laughing until they get that "OH S*** !!!!!!" moment when one of his orders affects them. There are a lot of people in for a rude awakening when they realize they have shot themselves in the foot by electing this madman.
Being a right wing conservative means closing your eyes until it finally affects you.
Trump supporters in Texas are coming to the realization that their vote for the president may force some of them out of their homes for less than they are worth, with others finding out that — if they stay — they’ll be living in Mexico if his wall is built.

Well, if you actually checked out the link, it is to a video of the woman being talked about in the OP. She, a trump voter, talks about the issues herself. No media bias.
the border is a line but the fence does NOT run by the exact border between us and mexico-- it cuts in US land and therefore actually puts the rest of the people's land On the mexican side-- see the segment- over 400 suits were lost against the US because they did NOT get market price 10 yrs ago on the present wall- and many lost a lot of the property they had from their grandfathers etc.
The problem mostly is not a fare rate-- but the one farmer lost the side that the crops were on-- left him the house--etc-- but no farmland!
Israel has done this same thing to Palestinians. They put the wall on the outside of their own border, and cut local people off from their lands.
They see social programs as a big scam and feel those people should be left to fend for themselves. Generally, Democrats and Liberals do care about social programs and we realize that everyone needs a helping hand from time to time.
We see so many harsh posts on here where Trump supporters are thrilled that the axe is being given to so many programs that benefited so many..........after school meals, etc.
And how are we going to pay for those social programs when we're consumed by our 20 trillion debt?
