Can someone from the "Trump O Sphere" please explain to me what this wet behind the ears kid of 36, remotely has in the way of past experience, to essentially be given the "run" of the entire Trump administration and tip the scales on huge issues like, government reinvention, healthcare, tax reform, the Middle East, North Korea, Isis, Iraq and Iran.

I mean this would be a huge lift for someone that had the proper governmental, political, and military experience, along with some gravitas, to handle these major issues and this kid has none of these traits.

I don't get it, it's like Donny is putting his son in law, through a fancy finishing school at both our expense and peril!

Comments anyone?

They're not even being subtle. Jared's gonna negotiate peace in the ME, he's involved in the meetings with President Xi, he's in charge of the move to run the US like a business..perhaps trump is trying to exhaust him so he won't have time to sleep with Ivanka.

The business dealings and the government deals mean that he's ignoring conflict of interest rules.

It's beyond scary and when you add Ivanka to the mix it's just down right disgusting and not worthy of our great Country. I'm beginning to feel like I'm living in some third world Country with a ruling despotic family in charge.

Damn shame!

I'm one of those Anyone but Trump Republicans....

Today, I was listening to NPR and they were having a long conversation about all the real and perceived conflicts of interest Kushner has, or will have, and what can be done about them, and I kept thinking wouldn't these problems solve themselves if he had absolutely NOTHING to do with our government and its policies on account of him being completely unqualified to do so???

Can't imagine what the right wing would have said if Obama had hired an inexperienced fashion executive to be his 'assistant' and 'senior advisor' and gotten her a security clearance.

Trump will go as far as people will let him. Right now, the cult are adoring bots, and the moderates in Congress just want to get their agenda passed and would put up with an orangutan in the oval office if it means they will. Sad!

Jimmy Carter went into the oval office with zero experience and he's smarter than Trump. That worked out well.

Have never seen such a blatant example of The Emperor Has No Clothes.

We are in a new world of Trumpmania where experts or experience are not trusted but Trump family is the only measure. Trump's children and their spouses are entrusted with our government, foreign relations and national security, in spite of Trump being less transparent than any president in the last 40 years. This is the new GOP where it would not be surprising to see Tiffany Trump negotiating with North Korea because daddy said she could.

It's pretty amazing. He's kind of a lone wolf one man State Department. Whether or not he's actually working to secure the interests and security of the country is an open question. My guess is that he's actually just acting as a front man to promote the Trump family global business dealings.
