I think it sums up the "movement" very well.

You have a bunch of hipsters having a "cause party" protest, and a Hollywood face stepping forward to stand with the "people" before jetting off to a party in Milan.

At least it's real in a few aspects.

who knew the key was having a Kardashian hand a Pepsi to a cop in the middle of a bunch of liberals dancing was the answer to all of our problems.
I'd say it's a pretty accurate way the white affluent Democrat leadership views "social justice".

"Pepsi comes out in support of far left, anti-Trump movements "

That is a highly imaginative interpretation. I don't think it is the case.

Modern corporations make a pitch to a market, they have markets all over the world. They want to seem relevant to the customers with cash to spend.

Contrary to some peoples beliefs, corporations are not people, they have no emotions and no sense of justice or morality. They have accounting principles and a responsibility to their stakeholders to bring revenue in exceeding costs.

I wouldn't read anything into it more than that. It is a marketing theme and nothing more.

Pepsi has always targeted being the choice of the "young" crowd. Its a transparent hollow gesture to try and latch on. Personally I don't care and its just another way for lazy people to pretend they are involved and are getting informed...because they watched a commercial between breaks from their comedy central "news" show.

Nothing says America like a Khardasian, a Pepsi and a protest. Throw in a riot as a night party with a flag burning bon fire and that's as good as it gets!

Might as well capitalize on the trends.

I tend to agree.

I don't think it is a very good commercial.

However, Madison Avenue has learned that a commercial does not always have to be liked to be effective. Annoying can work too.

Woke up this mornigng to conservatives condemning the ad and liberals saying it trivializes real issues.

No side likes it.

Was I really that unclear?

That Pepsi commercial was like it was written and directed by Shia LaBouef, it was messed up and incoherent. The Kardashians are all products of Project Monarch and its too bad whats her name has lost her soul and free will. I guess the anti Trumpers will be programmed to shove that garbage down their pie holes. But it was nice to see that many people looked at it and said WTF?
I was forced to take a Pepsi when I reluctantly stopped at a KFC for lunch. KFC sucks, so does Pepsi.
