Trump who criticized Obama for drawing a redline in Syria has now also drawn a red line that he says has been "beyond crossed." So, now that Assad has crossed Trump's redline what does that mean he wil do about Syria? War?
"When you kill innocent children, innocent babies, babies, little babies, with a chemical gas that is so lethal, people were shocked to hear what gas it was," Trump said. "That crosses many, many lines. Beyond a red line."
Trump later said that he is a "flexible person" and is capable of changing his opinions on issues.
"That attack on children yesterday had a big impact on me. Big impact," Trump said. "That was a horrible, horrible thing. And I've been watching it and seeing it and it doesn't get any worse than that."
At least it's good to see he has some empathy when children are gassed to death.
Is it asking too much to hope he realizes it's not our war and stays out of it?
Because for me, that's the only acceptable (in)action.
I don't condone war but saying it's not ours is a bit hypocritical at this point. It is a very complicated situation and there are few good options. But sticking our head in the sand is not a good one either. I'm sure isis would like us to do nothing. Raging infernos in countries, especially the Middle East are never geographically constrained. The chaos travels.

Assad's a scumbag.
Putin's a scumbag.
The rebels fighting are likely the same.
There's a GREAT option!
Let them kill each other if that's their choice.
Let the countries of the region worry about the chaos traveling.
Second, this is exactly the circumstance that we should take refugees -- people fleeing death.
Third, of the small number of terrorist incidents in the U.S., most were conducted by American citizens, born here.
