Of course he would probably have to tie a pork chop around his neck to get a dog to even come near him, and a cat would probably hiss and spit at him, lol!
Bless your heart, maybe life will treat treat you better tomorrow.

I'm not really sure why this is a political question, or even an issue. I think it would be nice if Barron had a pet, if he wants one, but I don't think anyone should ever get a pet to enhance their image, or because it's good "optics."

The only reason anyone should ever get a pet is because they truly want it, will take good care of it, and will love it.

If the Trumps choose to get a pet, and take good care of that pet, good for them.

If they choose not to, it's probably for the best, and people who really care about animals will accept that and stop complaining.

Barron is in need of a different name and father.

I feel bad for the kid.

I'd certainly qualify Steve Bannon as a part of a horse but that's just me

His ex-wife probably agrees

Actually, President Trump DID walk a dog:

So do I. I'm no Trump fan, and I can't - truly can't - imagine why Melania married The Donald, but I do think she's trying to be a good mother to that little boy. It seems like she's trying to protect him from public scrutiny as much as she can. No ten-year-old needs that.

You haven't flipped me or anything, but the other poster's implication that city people don't own dogs was silly. Lots of them do.

I did kind of like Trump's purple tie.

People who have time to spend with pets are the only ones who should consider having one. They should not be a prop.

Currently, I'm the prop.
