Of course he would probably have to tie a pork chop around his neck to get a dog to even come near him, and a cat would probably hiss and spit at him, lol!
IMO, with there being no children currently in the White House, and with President Trump's penchant for travelling every week end, it's best that he doesn't have a pet.
Also, when his wife and young son move into the White House in the next few months, there may yet be a dog or cat residing in the White House.
This is probably the only thing trump has done that I agree with.
He's apparently never had a pet.
People who don't want a pet shouldn't be pressured to get one. Same goes for children :-)
