Mr. President. The Russians have the most influence there. It's a complicated fight. Let them deal with it.

So when Iraq used gas on women and children in the 80s (when we were helping to arm them), did that make Reagan a failed dunce and terrorist sympathizer, as well?

Are you unaware of history now, or just not paying attention then?

..."The U.S. government may be considering military action in response to chemical strikes near Damascus. But a generation ago, America’s military and intelligence communities knew about and did nothing to stop a series of nerve gas attacks far more devastating than anything Syria has seen...

The Iraqis used mustard gas and sarin prior to four major offensives in early 1988 that relied on U.S. satellite imagery, maps, and other intelligence. These attacks helped to tilt the war in Iraq’s favor and bring Iran to the negotiating table, and they ensured that the Reagan administration’s long-standing policy of securing an Iraqi victory would succeed...."

Times change, the American people were not ready for any action against Syria nor was congress. Even today you can see there are a good many people against this attack from both sides. This was the easy part the next steps are enormously complicated.

You are not that easy to fool, are you?
ISIS is Al Quada, rebranded backfill into Iraq, to recognize people behind imaginary lines.

The only people that see imaginary lines that make up nation states is the west. These people do not recognize imaginary lines. They recognize the Islamic State... Period.
No matter what you wish to call them by their various region or leader, they are all Muslim Brotherhood. (rebranded CAIR for the USA market)
