Senator Rand Paul was on the news last night criticizing President Trump for bombing Syria without a Congressional declaration of war. (He always shows up at moments like this to flaunt his intimate knowledge of and love for that document.)
It made me think, however: when was the last time war was declared? Not just by the US but by any country in the world? The last declaration of war, as far as I know, was when Germany declared war on us Dec. 11, 1941.
