From what is shown in that video that seems excessive. I certainly didn't see her touch the police officer and slamming her face down on the ground was uncalled for.
Now perhaps if the entire altercation is revealed I'd change my mind but from that clip that seemed to be a bit excessive. That would be how I'd expect someone to take down a felon not some drunk broad that at least in the video didn't seem to be violent at all.
I'd like to hear the actual words being exchanged.
If it comes down to being unjustly accosted by cops and being compliant just so that i can go home, or letting the cops know that i'm not an easy mark for them and ending up in jail, i'm headed to jail. Why? Because someone has to take that option and stop kicking that can down the road.
Good for you, continue to be that person; it's on your rap sheet, not ours. Makes sense.
I've watched the slow motion about 12 times now, and I just don't see her punching the cop. She certainly appears to not follow his instructions, but I'm not seeing a punch thrown by her. I can't say for certain that she didn't, due to the lack of clarity in the video, but it appears she didn't strike him.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who watched the video in slow motion a number of times. I must say though that I cannot tell if she hit the cop or not because I was too busy looking at those long legs of hers. That there's one tall drink of water.
Glad you addressed the elephant in the room. I thought his laugh was funny
It was the nonchalant attitude of the observers on the scene that made me wonder about what really happened there. They seemed to laugh as if she was getting what she deserved. They saw more than we did, so it's probable that they know something we don't. I would have expected anger from them had the police been out of line. Impossible to say, but their reaction can be telling.

Yeah, I had to watch it 12 times to finally move my focus up.
