Nothing else will happen except the deficit and debt will increase and lots of defense contractors will get rich. As usual, some of the poorer folks here will be enticed with $$$ to join up to provide cannon fodder. At the Iraqi war the army had to lower their standards to take high school criminals, those without the proper intelligence levels, etc. - AND to pay them extra bonuses.

Only a very few Americans want to spend their time chasing IEDs.
