According to South Korean news, the reason for the troop movement is to handle the flood of refugees. The strike on Syria unsettled our enemies who has now concluded that President Trump is no President Obama and he will take action. Whether more refugees will encourage the Chinese to put more pressure on NK remains to be seen.
Would you really consider a pinprick attack like the one trump ordered to be a real show of resolve? Trump actually warned the Russians beforehand....who most likely warned the Syrians. Come on....the airfield was fully functioning the next day! Come on. Trump is a joke in the worlds eyes.
