It isn't really clear from the video, but yes, you're absolutely right. They gave the award to the "women of the senate" one year and to Feinstein and Graham another year, so we can assume that's what Ginsberg meant.

Why aren't you saying the story is not true, since you know now that is isn't?

Rather the story is true or not depends on the definition of is.

Why are people focusing on her calling Graham a "her". So what. When I think of Gingsburg, I think of the great friendship she and Scalia had. It was very odd considering they were complete opposites in their views. But they made it work and they were the best of friends. So to say she's getting old and should step down is ridiculous. I'm pretty sure we have all made this mistake. I've called my cat my son's name...lol These things just happen

Except that, as a couple of others have pointed out, this thing didn't happen at all. She was referring to prior awardees, one of which was "Women of the Senate" and another of which was "Dianne Feinstein And Lindsey Graham". Once again the OP is helping disseminate fake news.

Can't decide if this says more about Ginsburg or Graham. Will have to think about that some...

I didn't read the article but listened to the video. Don't understand why there is a misunderstanding accept for maybe a lack of listening skills and intent in verbal communication.

I loved what she had to say about working together and her colleagues. Classy speech.
