Classified docs contradict Nunes surveillance claims, GOP and Dem sources say - CNNPolitics.com

After a review of the same intelligence reports brought to light by House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, both Republican and Democratic lawmakers and aides have so far found no evidence that Obama administration officials did anything unusual or illegal, multiple sources in both parties tell CNN.

Their private assessment contradicts President Donald Trump's allegations that former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice broke the law by requesting the "unmasking" of US individuals' identities. Trump had claimed the matter was a "massive story."

Donny's distraction isn't working.

Gorka disagrees, but he's desperate to change the conversation off the Nazi story.

More unnamed sources from CNN.

It's not illegal to ask for unmasking if it is for a legitimate reason, but f=if it;s for a political reason, it would be illegal.

We still have no idea why Rice asked for the unmasking.

Funny how all this started with Rice herself lying on TV (she has a history of lying) and claiming she didn't know anything about the unmasking, to the dems denying it, to now it is accepted that Rice did in fact unmask Trump's people, and dismissing it all as"legal".

This is playing out exactly the way I said it would.

So tell us, exactly what law did Susan Rice break?

Requests for unmasking are part of the National Security Advisor job description.

Lying to a PBS Newshour reporter isn't illegal.

The conservative-driven Rice Scapegoating effort is circling the toilet.

it's routine procedure, end of story. Pointing fingers at someone else to cover up your own corruption is what Trump has done his entire life.

I told you, if she unmasked someone for political reasons, that could be illegal.

We have no idea who was under surveillance, and why, let alone who all was unmasked, and why.

None of this passes the smell test, but as I've said many times now, with how much latitude the government has given itself to spy, it could all be legal.

IF?

That's not proof, that's a desperate need for something to be true in order to validate one's prejudicial needs.

Would you like to be held up to the standard of IF?

Who's we?

Not the FBI.

Not the CIA.

Not the NSA.

Not the Senate and House committees.

The only people who have 'moved on' are the people desperate to deflect ongoing investigations into possible corruption and possible collusion.

No one can cite CNN as a legitimate news source with a straight face. Kim Jong Unhs newsletter to villagers is more accurate.

The sad thing is that millions of democrats believe it is a legitimate news organization. They literally can't tell the difference between legitimate reporting, and propaganda.
